A few days ago, I did some research to better understand how the music industry has changed with the entry of the digital age into the life of our society. They talked about the ways in which phonographic content was distributed - its evolution - and how limited it has been compared to what it is today. In the past, music was essentially consumed through media such as radio or CDs. It is a fact that this area today has an unrivaled ease in terms of distribution, commercialization and, mainly in the promotion. In addition, the artists' success was limited by having a good contract with a good record label. Profit in a career in music was essentially generated by the sale of albums. Fortunately for many musicians this has been changing. Social networks have transformed this business in the sense that it has had to adapt to a new "world". The beginning

Hey you! I’m Ana Cardoso, I’m from a town near Oliveira de Azeméis, in Portugal, and I’m here to present you my new Project: this blog! Well, I have a degree in New Communication Technologies and I thought it would be interesting to share with all of you some of my knowledge and my opinions about this digital world. In first hand, I started to think about the impact of the digital era in the music industry. I love music and all the process behind it. So I want to start to talk with you about that.
